Ginetta recruited Andy Lewis, a former aerodynamicist from Williams F1, to design the future LMP1. The new recruit will oversee the aero development of the prototype which will appear on the grids of the WEC in 2018. The British manufacturer is already planning the construction of ten examples.
“It was an attractive opportunity to lead the aero development of the Ginetta LMP1,” Andy Lewis said.
