Honda Performance Development, after racing in LMP2 last season, will continue in the category in 2011? but will also enter LMP1! The new version of the car, the ARX-01d, equipped with a V6 Turbo engine, will be used this season in LMP2 on European circuits by at least two teams, including Strakka Racing, which already used an HDP LMP2 in 2010. The LMP1 will be an evolution of the AR-01c and will have a 8-liter V3,4 engine.
