It is on his Instagram account that the Brazilian Fernando Rees announced that he will not play the season of WEC with Larbre Competition.

“Unfortunately, the team lost a major sponsor, and the solution they found to fill the hole in their budget was to bring in a paid driver to replace me. » Rees says.

The latter was expected with Romano Ricci and Erwin Creed in the No. 217 Ligier JS P50 of Jack Leconte's team, which must now announce its new driver.

Please, here is an important notice for your voice! On our plans, we don't have to register with the WEC and it's 24 hours from Le Mans to the Larbre Competition. Unfortunately, the Sofreu team lost an important employer, and so they were forced to take care of their work and decoration, with a pilot wheel to correspond to no place to stay. I turned on a despesa, and the precision of a new rendering font. Simple assim. We are not in a legal situation to be involved – all of us are at risk of loss, but this is not the case. With 25 years of experience in motoring, and even if the goods are assimilative, I have had a lot of free access to the Lamborghini program at the same time. At this moment, everything you need will be like that. Vamo que vamo! Guys, I have some important news for you! The plans have changed, and I will not be racing in WEC and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Larbre Competition. Unfortunately, the team suffered the loss of an important sponsor, and the solution they found to fill this hole in their budget was to put a paying driver to replace me. I've become an expense, and they needed a new source of income. Simple as that. It's not a good situation for any of the involved – we all just lose with this, no one leaves unharmed. But with 25 years of experience in this world of motorsports, I know that shit like this happens, and I'm so grateful for having the Lamborghini program running parallel to that. At this moment, my focus is entirely theirs. Let’s push! . . . . . . . . . __________________________________________ #fernandorees #teamrees #kart #corrida #racing #karting #instaracing #raceforlife #raceweekend #raceday #autosport #raceteam #racetime #racer #motorsports #letsrace #esporte #radical #adrenalina #correr #aventura #racetrack #trackday #raceready # amilporhora #lmp2 #WEC #fiaWEC #larbrecompetition #larbre
