If the nine Audi endurance drivers had been known for a long time, the Programs respective of each of them was only revealed yesterday. At Le Mans, the Ingolstadt brand leaves with the same trios as in 2010, to the delight of Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich.

“In recent years, we have always had a very successful driver line-up, declares the boss of Audi Motorsport. Each of our cars had the potential to win, which explains our desire to keep the same crews for Le Mans 2011. I am delighted to have achieved it. Now we can concentrate on the development of the R18, without having to integrate a new arrival, with all the risks and the overload of work that this entails. The schedule until Le Mans is already tight enough as it is. Due to various clashes of dates between the ILMC and the DTM, ça n?a pas été facile de former les équipages. Par exemple, il était prévu que Mike Rockenfeller dispute la saison dans son intégralité. Mais avec le pilote officiel Porsche Timo Bernhard, Marcel Fässler, Tom Kristensen et Alan Mcnish, nous disposons d?un noyau d?équipe solide. »
