Soheil Ayari has once again received the trust of Oreca to develop the first LM P2 of Hugues de Chaunac's company, the Oreca 03. He gave us his first impressions of this new product. “ In terms of chassis, it's an incredible car. In fact, it closely resembles what I knew of the LM P1 from which the Oreca 03 is derived. The difference is first noticed on the aerodynamics, very very refined, in small touches but on which we have gained a lot. Due to the 2 LM P2011 regulations, close in weight to the 1 LM P2010, the Nissan powertrain did a lot of good for the car, because due to its small size, there was a refocusing of the masses. In tight conditions, the car is much more agile than before. And as we have gained in aerodynamics, we are also faster in the rapid ". The comparison with Signatech-Nissan will be interesting because if the 03 of the now "official" team of the Japanese manufacturer will be shod with Dunlop, Oreca, for its only appearance in Sarthe (for the moment), will trust Michelin.
