Mathias Beche has just been named Rebellion Racing's reserve driver for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This season, the 24-year-old Swiss driver is driving the TDS Racing Oreca 03-Nissan in the Le Mans Series. He notably distinguished himself during the inaugural round at Le Castellet by taking pole position in the LMP2 category. Mathias Beche is no stranger to Rebellion Racing, having carried out tests for the Swiss team during the winter of 2009 aboard the Lola-Judd LMP2.

“I am very happy to have been chosen by Rebellion Racing to be their reserve driver for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, he admits. As a Swiss driver I am very proud that a leading Swiss team trusts me. I chose to pursue a career in Endurance and this nomination is a new step forward towards LMP1 which is my objective, after having proven my qualities in Formula Le Mans and LMP2. »

Pour rappel, les deux Lola-Toyota du Rebellion Racing seront confiées dans la Sarthe aux trios Nicolas Cheers / Neel Jani / Jeroen Bleekemolen and Jean-Christophe Boullion / Andrea Belicchi / Guy Smith.
