As announced by the ACO, the 2011 season will see the return of the test day for 24 Hours of Le Mans. Tests, important for competitors, particularly in the year of the introduction of a new regulation. This day will take place on April 24, a month and a half before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will be held on June 11 and 12. This return will undoubtedly delight all those involved in the Le Mans classic, like Bruno Famin.

“Postponing the test day on the occasion of the first year of a new regulation seems relevant to me to run the new cars on a circuit as specific as that of Le Mans, on which we cannot do tests, explains the Technical Director of Peugeot Sport on the official website of the club organizing the Le Mans event. This day will allow us to check that there are no problems with the new car, particularly in terms of aerodynamics. The date is not really important, what was important was knowing it well enough in advance to be able to include it in our program. »
