The people of Manceaux will be able to see the new LMPH2G hydrogen prototype Monday June 10 from 18 p.m. The vehicle will parade through the city center, from Place Aristide Briand to Place des Jacobins, where the Weighing will be organized that same day. The objective is to promote hydrogen technology a few months before the arrival of a hydrogen bus (end of 2019) at Le Mans. The LMPH2G will also be exhibited at Quinconces des Jacobins on Tuesday, June 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m., during a symposium (a conference) on hybrid energy.

“With MissionH24 and our partner GreenGT, we had already expressed our resolve to deploy hydrogen in racing, with the aim of a more general application to all types of transport. With the Pays de la Loire region, as with Le Mans Métropole, we are getting involved in this aspect of carbon-free mobility for all, by installing a hydrogen refueling station in a few months. Today, this symposium and this parade, in parallel with the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2019, are new opportunities to inform the general public, explains Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest Hydrogen allows carbon-free mobility and adapts to all types of mobility, buses, cars, trains and even planes. We will demonstrate all its resources during the race, as has always been the role of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a true laboratory for testing and innovation. »
