Lotus Cars, which is owned by Malaysian manufacturer Proton, has announced plans to build an LMP2 car to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2012.
The brand is also developing a GT2 version of its Evora, which will be unveiled this week at the Paris Motor Show.
