Marc Gené (Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°1), just before returning to the pits to refuel, achieved the best lap of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010, in 3?19??644. Having moved up to fifth place thanks to the 12th stop of the No. 15 Audi R7 TDI, driven by Allan McNish, Marc Gené fell back to seventh place, overtaken by McNish but also Stefan Mücke (Lola Aston Martin n°007), who has not yet made his twelfth stop.
In the lead, Franck Montagny (Peugeot n°2) is still leading the debates, almost two minutes ahead of the Peugeot n°4 of Oreca. The #15 and #9 Audi R8 TDIs are third and fourth.
