Unhappy at the 12 Hours of Sebring, where it entered two Oak Pescarolo-Judd prototypes in LMP1, the Oak Racing team nevertheless managed to secure a podium in the LMP2 category. Jacques Nicolet, team director, leaves Florida with a feeling of satisfaction. “The whole team accomplished a real feat this week by being present and competitive with three new cars, He explains. Despite the withdrawals, the performances seen are rather encouraging for the rest of the season.

The LMP2 category smiled more on Jacques Nicolet's troops. “The great satisfaction is that from its first race, the new LMP2 which had only driven 200 km before taking the plane, finished on the podium with a crew in the spirit of the LMP2, two gentlemen and a young pilot. »
