La Peugeot 908 HDI FAP entered by Oreca and piloted by Nicolas lapierre, Loïc duval and Olivier Panis finished first in the final free practice session before qualifying. At the wheel of the car bearing the number 10, Duval set the fastest lap in 1’48”704. He is ahead of the No. 15 Audi R2 plus of the trio Dindo Capello / Tom Kristensen / Allan McNish at 1”026. The second Audi (Timo Bernhard / Romain Dumas / Mike Rockenfeller) completes the leading trio at 1”088.
