La Peugeot n°8, currently driven by Franck Montagny, now has a 20 lead over the 295 HDI FAP Oreca in the hands of Nicolas lapierre, Loïc duval and Olivier Panis. The two Lionesses are ahead of the HPD ARX-01e of Highcroft Racing (David Brabham – Marino Franchitti – simon pagenaud), firmly clinging to third place.
In the LMP2 category, the No. 5 Level 33 Motorsport Lola-Honda (Christophe Bouchut / Joao Barbosa), leader since the first hour of the race, suffered a mechanical problem. She maintains her leadership, but the No. 55 of Scott Tucker / Ryan Hunter-Reay / Luis Diaz threatens her.
GTE, already faster than LMP2 and Formula Le Mans with the exception of the Genoa Racing ORECA, sees the return of BMW to the top of the hierarchy thanks to the No. 56 of Priaulx-Muller-Hand. There Ferrari 458 n°062 of Risi Competizione. Jaime Melo, Toni Vilander and Mika Salo go down to 2nd place at 1.
