Malgré un contact ayant obligé le Rebellion Racing à procéder à quelques réparations, la Lola B10/60-Toyota n°12 du duo Nicolas Cheers / Neel Jani took the checkered flag at the 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps in 7th position. The Swiss car finished behind Pescarolo Team Autovision, but Nicolas Prost is satisfied. He now thinks he has the best gasoline car. Enough to aim for a place of honor at 24 Hours of Le Mans next June 11 and 12.
“We had a little bad luck today, declares Nico Prost. Due to traffic, contact with the Ferrari was inevitable. Neel and I had a very good race. We have to remember the positive, thanks to our good position on the grid and our pace in the race, we showed that we have the fastest petrol car. Both Rebellion Racing cars are reliable and scored points.”
