“We are pleased to announce that Toyota will manufacture additional LM P1 engines exclusively for Lola for 2012, explains Birrane on lemans.org. This increase in power will result in the manufacture of four cars intended to be entered in ILMC from 2012, in addition to those which run in ALMS and LMS. To date, we do not have any other confirmed projects. Lola has a good track record in this type of work thanks to projects carried out with several major manufacturers such as Nissan in 1989 and 1990, GM (Corvette) in the 80s, and even MG at the beginning of the last decade. »
