With teams and the FIA asking questions about the suitability of tires for LM P1 Non-Hybrids, Michelin organized a short driving session in Shanghai – this Friday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. – to specifically test its products. The fact remains that the weather did not play in favor of the Clermont-based manufacturer and the private teams entered in the premier category. And for good reason, it was on a wet track and in light rain that this session took place.

For the record, the best time went to the Rebellion R13-Gibson n°1 of Jani-Lotterer-Senna, credited with a lap in 1'57"812. Far from the best lap in the race last year, signed by Buemi en 1’45 »892.
