The TF Sport team, managed by Tom Ferrier, has confirmed its desire to initiate a Aston Martin Vantage in GTE Am in the World ChampionshipEndurance in 2019-2020.
The British structure already operates a Vantage in the category and wishes to continue with a similar plan of only one car present per year.
“It was always our intention to continue in the World Endurance Championship and we have worked hard behind the scenes to ensure we remain at the highest level in GT, explains Tom Ferrier. We hope that our application will be accepted and that we can return to Silverstone with the new Aston Martin Vantage GTE. »
TF Sport has achieved four second places this season, in Belgium twice (2018 and 2019), Silverstone and at Fuji, without however winning. The trio Charlie Eastwood – Salih Yoluc – Euan Hankey will try to finish on the first step of the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14-16).
