Elle devance la la BMW M3 de Bill Auberlen et la Ferrari 430 AF Corse de Bruni-Fisichella-Kaffer. A noter que jusqu?à il y a quelques minutes, le trio de tête était constitué de la Corvette n°04, la Porsche n°045 et la Ferrari 458 n°001. Mais les trois voitures se sont accroché au Turn 17 entraînant l?abandon de l?italienne après un contact avec le mur.
