A nice marketing stunt was carried out on the occasion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Sarthe) 2017. Renamed Vaillante Rébellion, the two Oreca 07s from the Swiss team wore the colors of the comic book hero in the LM P2 category.
This meeting between the world on paper and reality inspired director Frédéric de Brabant, who made a 52-minute documentary on the relationship between Michel Vaillant and Le Mans.
Available on DVD on the official website of the comic, the report invites pilots (Bruno Senna, Nicolas Cheers), actors of theEndurance (Pierre Fillon) and screenwriter Philippe Graton to explain the story of the most famous comic strip pilot.
