Winner of the Teams and Drivers trophy in LM P2 in WEC This season, Vaillante Rebellion is still considering the shape of its program for 2018 on the world stage. Julien Canal, present Thursday evening during the presentation of the film 24 Hours of Le Mans 2017, confirmed that discussions were continuing.

“An LMP1 and an LMP2 or two LMP1s or two LMP2s could be entered by Vaillante Rebellion next year in the 2018 – 2019 WEC Super Season. Nothing has been decided yet” said the Frenchman.

In issue 2132 of AUTOhebdo, Alexandre Pesci, Team Principal of the team, admitted that a return to LM P1 was under study. The structure which used an Oreca 07 LM P2 this year could in particular be interested in Oreca's thoughts on building an LM P1 around this same 07.
