After the announcement of the end of the collaboration between Ginetta and Mecachrome for the supply of the G60-LT-P1 engine, the British entity announced the switch to the AER engine, at the same time as its absence for the next round of the WEC at Silverstone (August 16-19).
Ginetta is actively working with the new engine block installed in its LM P1, as evidenced by the video posted on social networks showing the first start of the power unit in the prototype.
AER • G60-LT-P1

Herculean effort by the Ginetta crew. Today we ran up the new AER engine in the G60-LT-P1. Take a bow team.
