The team of Gérard Welter and the Salini brothers has just announced that they have submitted an application for participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2011. Changes under the hood, the LMP2 will no longer roar with a Zytek engine. The block chosen is the Nissan VK8DE V45. In addition, the installation of a new rear wing should allow better aerodynamic efficiency. If the WR-Salini Nissan is selected for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team will participate in the LMS race at Paul Ricard or the 1000 km of Spa.
