The Swiss team Hope PoleVision Racing will field this season in ILMC an Oreca 01 with a hybrid engine equipped with a Srec with a flywheel.
To drive this car, the boss of the Swiss team Benoît Morand decided to trust Steve Zacchia, who was already part of his troops in 2010.
“The 2011 hybrid project is a big challenge, explains the native of Yverdon, Switzerland. It interests me all the more because it is a contemporary challenge, with implications both in racing and on the road. This is a formidable challenge to take on, because not everyone races with hybrid technology. Being one of the drivers of one of the first racing cars to use it is exceptional for me, even more so in a small team that competes with the big guys! »
