Franck Montagny and Stéphane Sarrazin (Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°2) have just won the 1000 Km of Zhuhai, the last of the three rounds of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. Le duo français s?est imposé devant l?Audi R15 TDI de Tom Kristensen et Allan McNish, et celle de Romain Dumas et Dindo Capello. La deuxième Peugeot 908 a été retardée dix minutes en raison d?un accrochage avec une Porsche GT2, Sébastien Bourdais having had to make a stop and go for having caused it.

Peugeot thus adds a new victory to the record of the 908 HDi FAP, which ends its career on a more than positive note, and the manufacturer also offers itself the first title in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, rich this year of three races, but which will have seven next season.

The suspense was complete until the end of these 1000 km from Zhuhai since Stéphane Sarrazin (re)took control of the race less than twenty minutes from the finish, finishing the event one second ahead of Tom Kristensen!
