THEIMSA has revised its testing regulations for the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season by limiting testing for each category. The Prototypes will be limited to eight days, the GTLM to nine (compared to ten for both categories in 2015), while the PC and GT Daytona will be limited to four days (compared to six this year). Teams testing prototypes for 2017 could benefit from exemptions.
