Powered by technology from Swedish business intelligence company Greater Than, the FIA SDC app is AI-powered and provides real-time guidance, feedback, and scores while driving. Yifei Ye, AF Corse Hypercar driver and the first Ferrari factory driver from China, is one of seven motorsport and rally drivers to be given public roles through the initiative.

« Safety and sustainability are essential, on and off the track ", acknowledged the winner of the Lone Star Le Mans last season and second in the opening race of the World ChampionshipEndurance FIA 2025 in Qatar, alongside his teammates Robert Kubica and Philip Hanson. I am proud to join the FIA Smart Driving Challenge Ambassador Program, helping users make a difference wherever they drive, travel or commute. »

Last year, the FIA SDC welcomed drivers from 92 different countries. Participants reduced their fuel or battery consumption by an average of 9%, with some reducing their emissions by up to a third. In the final, the top two drivers also reduced their accident risk by nearly two-thirds by adopting safe and responsible driving practices.

The FIA SDC has been used by international motorsport's governing body at the previous two annual United Nations climate change conferences, COP28 and COP29, to help raise awareness of available technologies to reduce emissions globally.

The other ambassadors are Dania Akeel (W2RC), Roman Bilinski (FIA F3), Maro Engel (FIA GT World Cup, DTM), Taylor Gill (JWRC), Romet Jürgenson (WRC2) and Aliyyah Koloc (W2RC).
