45 million for Alonso

Fernando Alonso was ranked third in the Sport Illustrated magazine rankings which lists the highest paid athletes in the world, outside the United States.
With 45 million dollars earned over one year, the pilot Ferrari ahead of footballers Lionel Messi (43,8 million) and Christiano Ronaldo (38,8 million) and behind Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao (52,5 million) and tennis player Roger Federer, first in the ranking with almost 52,8 millions of dollars.
This sum includes his salary at Ferrari, his image rights and advertising contracts.
