The Brawn GP driver set the best time in the first free practice session at the wheel of his Brawn-Mercedes. He is the only driver to go under 1?22?? (1?21??799). Jenson Button ahead of Jarno Trulli, Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfled, Kazuki Nakajima and Nico Rosberg. Great performance from the BMWs, improving after a very disappointing Bahrain GP.
