Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) dominated Q2 of these qualifications for the Hungarian Grand Prix, achieving their times on medium tires, just like the Racing Point of Sergio Pérez and Lance stroll.
Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri), despite a problem with Power Unit, finished 10th and qualified for Q3.
Disappointment at Red Bull, since Alex Albon is eliminated in this Q2 (13th), proclaiming on his radio that he should not be released into traffic. Daniel Ricciardo (Renault), George Russell (Williams), Esteban Ocon (Renault) and Nicholas latifi (Williams) are also eliminated.
