This evening, around 18 p.m., a Mercedes Dark gray AMG parks a few meters from the intensive care unit of the Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure where Robert Kubica has been treated since Sunday. Jean Alesi accompanied by his friend and former agent Mario Miyakawa escapes to meet Daniel Morelli (Kubica's manager). After inquiring about the progress of Kubica's state of health, they will stay at his bedside for more than half an hour. At the end of his visit, Jean Alesi – recent ambassador of Lotus and close to the Polish entourage – was reassured and appeared optimistic.

“I found Robert to be in good shape. Above all, he is very happy to know that he should be able to regain his physical abilities. He gradually regains all his mobility. With good rehabilitation, we will find the Robert Kubica we know. He is not morally affected by the trauma he has just suffered. He is impressive. His face is rested. He is as you know him. As if he was giving an interview while getting out of his car. As for his practice of rally, I would say that the pilots of F1 currently active suffer from a lack of testing. They want to race, to be competitive… Robert finds this in rallying. He had an accident that “ended well.” » concluded Jean Alesi.
