The two stables Red Bull et Toro Rosso change reserve pilots. The New Zealander Brendon Hartley is replaced by the Spaniard Jaime Alguersuari who will be able to benefit from a most enriching experience by participating in all the Grands Prix within the Red Bull structure.
Hartley and Alguersuari are currently competing in Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Hartley is also engaged in F3 Euro Series this season.
