McLaren-Honda decided to reinstall “version 3” of the Japanese block on the MCL32 of Fernando Alonso for the British GP played on July 16 at Silverstone.
The installation of a new energy recovery system should be accompanied by a penalty of 5 places on the grid, the Asturian having already used four this season. The Woking team have already admitted they should expect further sanctions this weekend.
