The Rouen native appeared alongside his new teammate, Franco Colapinto, who had a troubled first weekend in Emilia-Romagna, where he replaced Jack Doohan for the first time. The Argentinian notably crashed into the wall in qualifying.

The two drivers posed on the most famous of red carpets – that of the Cannes Film Festival – after also taking the time to appear in theAlpine A290, the electric city car from the arrowed A, already voted “Car of the Year” in January, alongside its sister, the Renault 5 E-Tech. The model was presented last June, on the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the two prototypes Alpine had given up before nightfall.

After some very encouraging last few months (three podiums in WEC), the French will return with ambition to Sarthe in three weeks, to join the fight with the best and make the name ofAlpine, in difficulty in Formula 1. The team based in enstone (United Kingdom) is in 9th place in the Constructors' standings ahead of Monaco, with just 7 points, all scored by Pierre Gasly.

A sneak peek for the privileged, while the general public will have to wait until June 25 for its theatrical release.
