Back in F1, Kevin Magnussen will be among the 10 contenders for pole position. This will not be the case for Esteban Ocon, 11th.

Bahrain – Q2: It goes for Magnussen, not for Ocon

This VF22 of Haas seems to work well. If Mick Schumacher settled for 12e chrono, Kevin Magnussen won his ticket for Q3 with the 9e time during this Q2 in Bahrain. A first for the American team since Brazil in 2019.

A qualification thatEsteban Ocon (Alpine) did not obtain. Tenth on the grid, the Norman was taken out by Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) author of 9e time at the end of the session. Lando Norris (McLaren), Alexander albon (Williams) and Guanyu-Zhou (Alfa Romeo) are the others eliminated.

At the head of the pack, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) set the best time ahead Carlos Sainz et Charles Leclerc. These three men should fight for pole in Q3.
