Gerhard Berger seems dazzled by the performances achieved by the pilot Ferrari. The double World Champion is in fact the best placed to access the throne with two races to go, whereas his situation was quite different a few races before. The Austrian did not mince his words when talking about Fernando Alonso, since he did not hesitate to compare him to his former teammate at McLaren, Ayrton Senna.
« Special drivers, like Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher sometimes stand out from the crowd. (Fernando) Alonso is also part of it », complimented Gerhard Berger on Servus TV, an Austrian channel. “ These drivers are capable of winning a Championship without having the best car. »
