Bernie Ecclestone to Vladimir Putin's rescue
A statement from Bernie Ecclestone begins to proliferate on the web this Tuesday March 1st. The former president of Formula One Group declared, on February 25 (after the start of the Russian invasion in Ukraine) to Times Radio, that Vladimir Putin was a good man.

At 91 years old, “Mister E.” therefore does not have his tongue in his pocket. It was with Vladimir Putin that he negotiated the arrival of the Formula 1 in Sochi in the Olympic Park from 2010 for a first edition in autumn 2014. Relations with the two men are so good that the former F1 boss declared in 2019, again to the Times (the newspaper):
“If someone decided to shoot Putin, I would put myself in front of him to protect him, because he is a good guy. He did nothing wrong to the people. »
