The team today under the name BMW-Sauber may have regrets that the German manufacturer has decided to withdraw from the Formula 1 at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. After a good end to the season, the stable?Hinwil returned to sixth place in the constructors' championship, ultimately overtaking the team by a point and a half Williams-Toyota.
In the fight for third place, Ferrari et McLaren-Mercedes ultimately did not move after this Grand Prix since none of the drivers from the two teams made it into the points. McLaren therefore retains its third place by one point.
