For the first time since the acquisition of the rights to the F1 by the Canal + group, the Monaco Grand Prix was broadcast unencrypted and in full on the C8 channel. The little sister of the encrypted channel on TNT recorded good audiences for the race with 1 viewers, or 068% market share.

This figure above one million placed C8 in second place nationally and in first place among TNT channels. If the audience does not equal that of TF1, it remains honorable given the fact that Canal + also broadcast the race live. We should not find the Delpérier / Vergne duo on the comments this year but it has already been announced that the 2018 French Grand Prix will be broadcast on the free channel.
