Brazil-Q1: Pierre Gasly eliminated

In addition to the elimination of Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) after his accident at the start of the session, Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) is one of those eliminated at the end of Q1 of qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix. The French driver ranks 17th behind Pascal Wehrlein (Sauber).

Lance stroll (Williams), whose mechanics worked hard to allow the Canadian to take to the track after changing the engine and gearbox between FP3 and qualifying, finished in 18th place ahead of Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) and therefore Lewis Hamilton.

Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) set the best time in 1’09”405.
