Brazil – Q2: Ocon narrowly passes, not Gasly

One in two French people. Among the two Tricolores present on the grid, only Esteban Ocon managed to qualify for Q3. The Norman was scared but his 10th time was 44 thousandths ahead of Alex Albon (11th) allowed him to advance to the final part of qualifying. Pierre Gasly was not so lucky and will be 12th on the grid for the Sprint Race this Saturday. It also did not pass for Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo et Lance stroll.
At the front, it is Max Verstappen who set the best time in 1’10”881 ahead of Carlos Sainz et Charles Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton finished 9th, more than 6 tenths behind.
