Giancarlo Fisichella, after setting a first time in Q1 during the qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix, made a mistake in turn 1, forcing the race direction to stop the session after just four minutes. Only seven drivers were able to set a time, Sebastian Vettel occupying the lead at the moment.
The race direction will not restart the session until the weather conditions have improved.
