Renault Sport F1 Team placed its two cars in the points this Sunday in Melbourne with a seventh place for Nico Hulkenberg and the tenth position for Carlos Sainz. The latter, however, admitted to having encountered an unexpected problem during the test.

“Personally, I had some difficulties, notably with my drink bottle which made me not feel very well... We had a problem with the water pump which was pumping water non-stop for the 10 or First 15 rounds.

I didn't want to waste it, so I drank too much. I felt bad and I could feel the water moving in my stomach at every turn. Somehow I managed to get past it, but it was very uncomfortable. » comments the son of the double world champion WRC.

Sainz in fact indicated on his radio that he felt nauseous from a certain moment of the Grand Prix, but was able to maintain his potential to offer a good overall result to the French brand, which had not scored in Melbourne since 2011.
