We felt a “Retro” fashion coming in the decoration of helmets Fernando Alonso since a few months. After the vintage versions sported at the Indianapolis 500 (Indiana), United States Grand Prix then to 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida), the Spaniard completely changes the design of his helmet for the 2018 season Formula 1.

The usual pilot colors McLaren are present: sky blue (a reference to the autonomous community of Asturias, his homeland of birth), red and yellow (the colors of the Spanish flag). To this, the double world champion adds almost navy blue. The shapes change completely, and we notice the printing on the bottom of the helmet of his name. The two lightning bolts, the pilot's historic logo, remain displayed at the top of the helmet.

New partner of McLaren, the multinational Petrobras is displayed on the chin guard; Kimoa, the clothing brand created by Fernando Alonso, is also highlighted.
