Charles Leclerc escapes penalties in Canada, not Yuki Tsunoda

Penalties were expected to fall in Canada with risk hovering above Charles Leclerc. But ultimately it is Yuki tsunoda who finds himself penalized in Montreal. The Japanese was penalized by the FIA on the grid for the Canadian Grand Prix. For good reason, the pilot Alpha Tauri violated article 28.2 of the regulations by changing to the 4th turbo and a 4th engine, one part too many for each element. Yuki Tsunoda will start from the last position on the starting grid for the Canadian Grand Prix this Sunday, June 19.

After its abandonment in Baku, doubt hovered over the modifications made to the car by Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver, who has suffered from Ferrari's reliability since the start of the season, will use his third V6 engine in Montreal. There Team decided, however, not to change the turbo and therefore allowed Charles Leclerc to also be penalized on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
