While it is still raining in Korea, it is now almost certain that a large part of the race will take place in the rain. The trail of the typhoon that recently hit China is currently passing over southern Korea. On the Yeongam track, the asphalt was wet and, during the grid lap, several drivers, such as Timo Glock or Tonio Liuzzi, spun. The shoulders are also increasingly unstable: each passage off the track should be heavily sanctioned, with drivers having to avoid putting their wheels on them at all costs. They could get bogged down there or, at best, return to the track bringing back a significant quantity of mud...
