Although already excluded from the ranking of the last Australian GP, the members of the World Council could decide on other sanctions against the team McLaren caught in the crime of blatant lying in order to recover 3rd place in the Melbourne GP.
“We recognize Lewis's efforts to put things right,” an FIA representative said last night. It seems he has been placed in an impossible position. We are now awaiting reports from the FIA observers and stewards in order to decide whether or not further investigations are necessary.
