Pedro de la Rosa was a priority to accompany Bruno Senna within the new Campos Meta team. But the Spaniard would not be able to bring the partners essential to obtain a seat.
For the Spanish team, the solution could come from a GP2 driver. The Russian Vitaly Petrov, second in the 2009 championship, would be the one whose negotiations are the most advanced.
