After Alain Prost (Bahrain), Tom Kristensen (Australia), Johnny Herbert (Malaysia) and Alexander Wurz (China), Derek Warwick, pilot of F1 from 1981 to 1993, will be the fourth steward at the Spanish Grand Prix on May 9 in Barcelona. At the end of last season, the FIA wanted a driver to be alongside the usual race stewards, in order to improve decision-making (sanctions, flags?) during Grands Prix. It could also be that Nigel Mansell inherits this role for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
