Much appreciated pilot in the United States, Lloyd Ruby died earlier this week at the age of 81.
Lloyd Ruby had participated numerous times in the Indianapolis 500, finishing on the podium in 1964. He had also started a Grand Prix in F1 at Watkins Glen in 1961 and won various endurance races in a Ford GT40.
