Etihad Airways and Aldar, which were seen as very visible sponsors during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, were ordered to pay $4,683 million in damages to Force India. The two companies signed a three-year contract with the Silverstone team when it was called Spyker. When the team was bought by Vijay Mallya, Etihad and Aldar withdrew. Justice finally ruled in favor of Force India.
